Art on Paper Brussels 2021

BOZAR | Stand 16

In September we will participate in Art on Paper, an International Art Fair on a dream location, namely the famous Palais des Beaux-Arts (Bozar) in Brussels. We are there in the midst of a number of renowned international galleries and of course hope to uphold the Dutch glory.

Highlights by artists who use paper as material, but also tell a story about the use of paper in art throughout history are hung together. Louise Bourgeois’ drawing makes the eyes dance over paper by following lines, Sol LeWitt tore and crumpled paper to focus on the material itself and Arnulf Rainer layered photos, paint and paper together to play with originality. Emo Verkerk uses paper to tell stories about characters normally described in pages of books, while Morgan Betz, on the other hand, displays ways in which paper can be used to make art. With stencils for example.

These are just a few examples of a stand filled with great names to visit during Art on Paper from 15 to 19 September 2021.
